Our Story

Talon and I were part of the same big friend group in grade 12 but not directly friends, until a backyard campfire with the group at my moms house. It was shortly after grad. We first connected when I chastised him for skipping a song by Blue Oyster Cult. Talon stayed at my house long after the other guests left showing me one of his favourite movies at the time, Talladega Nights, and raving about his dads ribs recipe. Eventually he went home and we were just friends for a while. Then one day he was bored during his week off from work. I joked that he should come visit me at university, after 5 hours of no responses he was there at my dorm. I guess they say the rest is history (the ribs were very good). Though we really became official at his moms house after a date at Mr. Mikes.
